Innumero Wines 2022 Pinot Noir, Little Boot Vineyard, Russian River Valley

Tasting Notes:

Our first vintage of Little Boot Pinot Noir is already a complete showstopper. This wine has an inky and intense purple hue in the glass. Aromas are of dusty black cherry, dried black plum, candied violets, a hint of Maine wild blueberries, dried red rose petal and a hint of clove. The palate is gorgeous with juicy black and red fruit tones on the front with spice notes and great texture rounding it out. There are medium tannins that are chewy but balanced and delicious and good acidity on the finish.

2022 an anomoly of a vintage. We had an extremely dry winter and spring and then had some frost and hail in the spring after budbreak that really lowered the crop. The growing season was very warm which led to a super early start to the harvest.  In spite of this, quality and flavors were excellent due to the small yields. Each of the wines is very concentrated and has a lot of depth. These wines are drinking beautifully!
