Innumero Wines 2023 Pinot Noir, Little Boot Vineyard, Russian River Valley

Tasting Notes:

Our 2023 Little Boot Pinot Noir is filled with spice notes and brambly fruit. This was a quite different vintage for this vineyard, and it is lighter, brighter but also more spiced than the prior vintage. The aromas are cardamom, clove, cinnamon, spiced apple, dark plum, briar blackberries, with beautiful spice notes, red earth, iron, and medium bodied tannins. This wine is delicious and promises to develop with age for the patient.

Our Little Boot Pinot Noir comes from a cooler site in West Sonoma County. The cold nights give way to fog well into midday and then warms for only a few hours with a breeze coming off the coast and through the vines. This breeze leads to thicker grape skins and the long, slow hangtime leads to mature ripening and amazing flavors.
