Stringer Cellars 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley
Tasting Notes:
The nose of our 2021 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon offers a deep and intriguing journey, unveiling inky depths and aromatic notes of black currant, cassis, and Madagascar vanilla bean. Complexity emerges with hints of black plum, spiced raspberry, and white pepper, while fresh-cut oak, bakers' chocolate, red apple skin, desiccated rose petals, and worn leather add further layers of fascination. Dusty tannins on the palate provide a structured foundation, framing flavors of a cherry tootsie pop and cooling fresh mint. The wine's juiciness shines through with Rainier cherry, Santa Rosa plum, and juicy red currant, while candied sage adds an herbal twist. In its youth, it exudes charm and allure, with freshness and red fruit character that promises to evolve and refine with time.
