TERMINIM is a collaboration between François Villard (Northern Rhône Valley of France) and Donald Patz (California). These two iconic winemakers combined to get Rhône-varietal grapes from the Mendocino source Alder Springs Vineyard. This is a melding of California grapes with a Franco-American take on the winemaking.
Two wines are made – the white “Cépages d’Or” (grapes of gold) is a blend of Marsanne, Roussanne, Picpoul Blanc and Viognier. A 100% Syrah wine is produced from two different parts of the vineyard, giving it great complexity. The wines show characteristics of both the winemaking style and the signature of California grapes.
